Financial Literacy Programme

Citizens Hub brings you this great opportunity for you to learn the basics of financial literacy – so that you can go on to be financially independent.

In 2012, an Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) report described financial literacy as “an essential life skill” for the 21st Century. We are confident that financial literacy is even more important now and so the time for you to boost your skills is now.

What will we have for you?

The overall purpose of the Financial Literacy Programme is to equip citizens with the skills and knowledge to create wealth using resources available to them as financially literate individuals.

A financially literate person is someone that is able to make good financial decisions by understanding how money works. Getting a firm grasp of basic financial topic areas leads one to gain a stronger financial position through which the financial independence can be reached. Citizens Hub is determined to lead citizens to be financially independent, active and responsible. And so, we will provide a complete, hands-on education that will impact your journey to grow and establish you as a financially literate citizen.

This workshop will include discussions on the following topics and more:

• Income & Earnings
• Savings
• Investments

Following a keynote address to get through some theoretical , we will also organise interactive group activities to share and learn from each other, all within a few hours.
